Forced to draw on the lawn of Partizan Belgrade, OGC Nice saw several of its players being affected by a gastric virus.

L’OGC Nice doesn’t make it. Struggling in Ligue 1, where they have only two meager victories in seven matches, the Aiglons are no more successful in the Europa League Conference.

Author of a first draw at home against Cologne (1-1) during the first day, the Riviera club also had to settle for a sharing of points on Thursday, during its trip to Partizan Belgrade.

The Niçois had nevertheless opened the scoring from the second minute but were joined on the hour mark. But Lucien Favre’s men did not prepare for the meeting in the best conditions. Five Nice players and three members of the OGCN staff have indeed been struck by an intestinal virus. Melvin Bard would have been particularly affected, to the point of being absent from the score sheet and Marcin Bulka, expected to start, finally had to stay on the bench.
