Aleix Espargaro suffered a heavy crash during the 4th free practice session of the British Grand Prix. The Spanish driver was evacuated on a stretcher, but he will be able to compete in qualifying.
Very big scare for Aleix Espagaro. The Spanish driver, runner-up to Fabio Quartararo in the world championship standings, suffered a spectacular fall during the 4th free practice session of the British Grand Prix.
The Catalan lost control of his Aprilia, before going over his bike and being thrown into the air.
Espargaro remained on the ground for several minutes before being evacuated on a stretcher. He looked badly affected when he was carried to the medical center, unable to walk on his own.
He’s off the stretcher and off to the medical centre 💪

However, the latest news is rather good. Espargaro has been declared operational for qualifying, which will take place from 3.30pm at Silverstone.
