While Jonas Vingegaard and Tadej Pogacar are fighting hard in the 18th stage of the Tour de France this Thursday, the race almost came to an end on an error from the second.
Multiplying the offensives in the Pyrenean climbs of the day, the Slovenian, left too wide in a bend, saw the rear wheel of his mount slip away, therefore falling inexorably on the low side, less than 26 km from the finish.
😱 @TamauPogi crashed! But Jonas Vingegaard waits for him.

The torn shorts, the thigh in blood, Pogacar did not however have too much difficulty in sticking to his great rival and Norwegian yellow jersey. The latter, handsome player, having waited a few hundred meters further. For one of the beautiful sequences of this disputed Grande Boucle.
🤝 Very nice gesture between Pogacar and Vingegaard! The Slovenian fell in the descent of the Col de Spandelles, but the yellow jersey was waiting for him. Their duel will continue in the ascent to Hautacam 🔥 #TDF2022
