Bordeaux: A conciliation deemed positive

The Girondins de Bordeaux, played by Gerard Lopez, were in front of the French National Olympic and Sports Committee (CNOSF) this Thursday afternoon.

The goal ? Obtain a favorable advisory opinion to push the Executive Committee of the French Football Federation (FFF) to review its judgment and relegation to the third division (National 1) confirmed on July 5 by the National Control and Management Directorate (DNCG) .

« It was a reconciliation. We were able to present what we had to say. Now we’ll see what will happen », Says the president of the club with the scapular at the end of his hearing before the CNOSF.

According to the regional daily Sud Ouest, this hearing would have been deemed positive by the Girondins, who were able to highlight the improvements recently made to the file and the favorable opinion issued this week by the Commercial Court of Bordeaux.

The CNOSF verdict is expected early next week. The FFF comex will meet immediately if the conclusions are favorable. Remember that the Ligue 2 season starts next Saturday, July 30.
