1.2 million visitors are expected in Qatar this winter to take part in the high mass of world football. Almost no alcohol.

Will the party in Qatar be crazier? Possible if we are to believe the advertising and the alcohol-related restrictions that will be in force in the emirate this winter during the World Cup. The competition’s organizing committee confirmed last week that alcohol outlets would be very limited during the tournament.

Strict time slots will be established for the sale and consumption of alcoholic beverages around stadiums and in certain fan-zones – only those stamped Fifa. The main one should be in Al-Bidda Park, in the center of Doha, to accommodate nearly 40,000 people.
