Thiago Silva, the message to PSG

The Chelsea defender was very moved after the Champions League victory.

Thiago Silva was expected after Chelsea’s victory in front of Manchester City (1-0) on Saturday night in the Champions League final. Nine months earlier, with the PSG jersey, he had failed in the final of the 2020 edition against Bayern (1-0).

« It’s, I think, the best day of my career », Declared the central defender of the Blues at the microphone of RMC Sport. Exited with an injury to the 39e minute, the 36-year-old Brazilian experienced a special evening on the pitch of the Dragon Stadium in Porto.

Thiago Silva also returned to this fate which made him win the C1 today after so many failed attempts with the Parisian colors.

« Every time Paris was eliminated, we looked for a culprit, and it was always me. It’s a shame because I have always given everything. I failed to do it for Paris and I hope they will one day. But I’ll always be Red and Blue. »

The Brazilian ended by thanking Thomas Tuchel who relaunched him this season.
