Super League-Ceferin: “You made a huge mistake”

Aleksandr Ceferin has once again stepped up to condemn the creation of the Super League, nevertheless reaching out to rebellious clubs.

For some, supporters have become consumers, competitions have become commercial products. Selfishness has replaced solidarity. Money has become more important than fame, greed more important than loyalty and dividends more important than passion ”, he thus launched.

“The big clubs of today were not necessarily the big clubs of the past and there is no guarantee that they will be the big clubs in the future. These clubs, who think they are big and untouchable, should remember where they came from. And should realize that if they are giants today, it is in part thanks to UEFA ”, he continued, before reaching out to dissident clubs: “There is still time to change your mind. You made a huge mistake, but everyone is making mistakes. ”
